November 2025 Updates - Noticias para Noviembre

​Daylight Savings, All Soul’s Sunday and...Parish Luncheon !!
Many of us have phones and clocks that will adjust automatically, but remember that if you don’t pay attention you’ll get to church an hour early!.
This Sunday is also All Souls Day. We will have ribbons available to write the names of people who have died, as we remember them and offer them in love and gratitude to God.
And please if you are able bring a dish to share after the service and enjoy one another’s company.
 
Church family updates
Cliff Hogan passed away on October 20th. Cliff was devout parishioner who began attending Christ Church in 2004. He was a regular at the 8 a.m. service, served on the vestry and was a delegate several times to our Diocesan Council. The service for Cliff will be Saturday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. Please keep Laurence and all who love Cliff in your prayers.

Stewardship Ingathering
We love to bless pledge cards! That small card represents a sacrifice on your part that we want to honor and offer to God. On November 16th we will offer the 2026 pledge cards during the offering. You can come forward to put them on the altar or place them in the plate. Thank all of you for your faithfulness.
 
Christmas updates
Our Children’s Christmas Pageant will take place on Sunday, Dec. 14 at the 11 a.m. service. Costume fitting and rehearsals will start on Sunday, Nov. 16th. We are looking for adult and teen helpers. Call Fr. Paul for more info. 956-285-2753

 ¡Cambio de hora, Domingo de los Fieles Difuntos y Almuerzo Parroquial!
Muchos tenemos teléfonos y relojes que se ajustan automáticamente, pero recuerden que si se descuidan, ¡llegarán a la iglesia una hora antes! Este domingo también es el Día de los Fieles Difuntos. Tendremos cintas disponibles para escribir los nombres de quienes han fallecido, al recordarlos y ofrecerlos con amor y gratitud a Dios. Y, por favor, si les es posible, traigan algo para compartir después del servicio y disfrutar de la compañía de los demás.
   Noticieas de la comunidad parroquial
Cliff Hogan falleció el 20 de octubre. Cliff era un feligrés devoto que comenzó a asistir a la Iglesia de Cristo en 2004. Asistía regularmente al servicio de las 8:00 a. m., formó parte del consejo parroquial y fue delegado varias veces a nuestro Consejo Diocesano. El servicio en memoria de Cliff será el sábado 8 de noviembre a la 1:00 p. m. Por favor, incluyan a Laurence y a todos los que amaban a Cliff en sus oraciones.
   Recolección de mayorormia  
Bendiciremos las tarjetas de mayodormia de 2026 durante la ofrenda. Pueden acercarse para colocarlas en el altar o en el plato. Gracias a todos por su fidelidad. Actualizaciones navideñas
   Preparando para Navidad
Nuestra Pastorela navideña infantil se llevará a cabo el domingo 14 de diciembre durante la misa de las 11:00 a. m. Las pruebas de vestuario y los ensayos comenzarán el domingo 16 de noviembre. Buscamos voluntarios adultos y jóvenes. Para más información, llamen al Padre Paul 956-285-2753.
