Memorial Flowers
Almost every Sunday, we have a flowers. They help make our worship space beautiful. But more importantly they are a way for us to give thanks for important people, living and dead, and important events in our lives and the lives of loved ones.  If you would like to offer a gift of flowers on a particular Sunday, please contact the parish office at 956-723-5714 or email

Healing and wholeness
Healing. injury confront all of us or those we love. In the gospels Jesus often heals people instantly or almost instantly. I believe that Jesus still does so. But of course many people do not get healed. Why do some get well and others do not? I plan to share some about this mystery this Sunday at Christ Church in Laredo.

Make plans to have lunch right after the 11:00 a.m. service. Bring a dish or dessert to share and get to know others in our parish.
You are welcome to wear your favorite sport regalia from football to any other sport!

Vestry - Our board of directors
At our annual meeting this past Sunday we elected new members. They are: Gustavo Acevedo, Angie Gutierrez, Elena Holloway, Juan Molano and Mark Pease. Please thank each of them for their service to our parish as they seek to guide our parish in the ministries we believe God is asking us to fulfill.

Ash Wednesday - Give God a Valentine
When was the last time you gave God something? When we step forward to receive ashes, we are admitting we believe that our time in this life is limited. But we are also re-committing our lives to worship, prayer, the church community, and service. Those are the ways we can show God our love. As you come forward on February 14th, Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day, and hear those familiar words from Genesis 3:19, "Thou art dust, and to dust thou shalt return, offer yourself once more as a valentine to God.
