Sacraments

The word "sacrament" refers to things that make "sacred" or holy.  We do things that unite us more closely to God and to one another, believing that God is actually at work through our actions and through the material instruments of water, bread, wine, and more.
Episcopalians recognize two primary sacraments:
        Baptism
        Communion
Both of those are directly traced to Jesus' own ministry and his commandments that his disciples continue to do both.

In addition we believe that five other means that have come through Jesus and the apostles that help us grow in depth and faith with God:
        Confirmation
        Marriage
        Ordination
        Healing

Reconciliation
