There are many opportunities for service here at Christ Church.
Many of those opportunities take place on Sunday. Sunday Opportunities abound! We always can use help with Hospitality, Music Ministry, Sunday School Teachers, Ushers, Altar Guild, and more. If you'd like to get more information about how you can serve God through a ministry at Christ Church, call us. Contact the parish secretary at 956-242-0448 who will put you in touch with a ministry representative Saturday Food Assistance. One of our largest programs, New Leaven, a ministry that feeds approximately 100 families per week, always has immediate openings for people to help bag and package food. It is a chance to serve God by serving others. Volunteers must be able to follow instructions and commit 2 to 3 hours on Saturdays from 9-11:00 a.m. Spanish is desirable but not essential. Office Assistant. Some of this can be done remotely and some things can be done in our office. From updating databases, to filing, to running copies, making calls, we can use your help!! Start something New! If you have something you would like to start, call our Pastor, Paul Frey. In addition to "our" ministries, our members are involved in a huge number of other ministries and organizations in our community, putting in many hours of service to Laredo and beyond.
