We believe that children have a ministry to adults! And we believe that adults have a ministry to kids!
We encourage children 7 year and older to serve as acolytes. We hope that middle school young people will do that and help with younger kids in our nursery and Sunday School. And we want young people in 8th grade on up to consider helping as readers, lay communion ministers, and more.
Nursery Care is available for infants through 5 years of age from 10:45 till 12:15
Sunday School Our children come to the service for the first few minutes and then leave following a childrens sermon. They return after the class before we have the communion part of the service. (Usually they are in the church at the beginning from 11 to @ 11:15 and then out until @ 11:45. The Church service ends at 12 noon.
Church Services - We are always happy to have kids in our services. We always have a children's sermon, and parents are welcome to bring their children in and out of church. Baptized children are also welcome to receive the Lord's supper in our church.
Children's Communion - Children who are baptized are welcome to receive communion. The Episcopal Church allows young children to receive communion. Please read "Children and Communion". (Ninos y Comunion)
Vacation Bible School - We have not yet planned this Summer's VBS. If you would like to volunteer, lead, be part of the team contact the Parish Office. 956-242-0448
